9:30 am Whale Watch & Dolphin Sightings:

20 Bottlenose Dolphins
200 Common Dolphins
2 Fin Whales

Although there was fog throughout the cruise, passengers enjoyed dolphin and whale sightings. We encountered a small pod of Bottlenose dolphins that swam close to the boat and entertained guests. Common dolphins were seen several times with one large pod swimming all around the boat, bow riding and leaping out of the water. Ten miles offshore, two Fin whales surfaced. We were able to spend time watching them swim close to the boat and all around the boat before heading back to shore.

Glenda Maxwell

9:30 am Whale Watch & Dolphin Sightings:

10 Bottlenose Dolphins
300 Common Dolphins
1 Fin Whale

It was an overcast day, but great visibility for spotting marine life. It started with a small pod of Bottlenose dolphins feeding as we left the harbor. Offshore we spent time watching a Fin whale before heading out to look for more marine life. Various pods of Common dolphins were encountered feeding or taking time to come to the boat for bow riding. As we returned to the harbor, Bottlenose dolphin were spotted with several close to the boat for bow riding.
